Current Opening - Executive Assistant to the Mayor
The Village of Franklin Park is seeking a professional, dependable individual to work as an Executive Assistant for a dynamic and progressive Mayor in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will assist the Mayor in responding to constituent inquires and requests from lobbyists, the business community and officials from other governmental agencies. Work is primarily in an office environment, although communicating with the Mayor and attending events in the evening or on the weekends is required.
Ability to maintain confidential information is a must. The sucessful candidate with have a demonstrated career path in high level administrative work. Excellent communication, presentation and organizational skills are required. Proven ability to work independently, multi-task and manage an executive’s busy schedule is essential.
- Bachelor’s Degree and five years experience preferred;
- An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered for the right candidate;
- Fluency in written and verbal Spanish is highly preferred;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite;
