Community Development
The Community Development Department encompasses multiple responsibilities throughout the Village including Economic Development, Planning, Zoning (including Flood Zone identification) and Engineering in addition to providing staff support to two Village Commissions/Boards.
With the assistance of the Economic Development Commission (EDC), the department assumes a key role in providing the foundation for the successful implementation of development strategies to ensure the growth of a diverse, stable local economy.
