With funding from the Environmental Protection Agency, the Village has retained RW Collins to perform environmental remediation at the site of the former dry cleaners located on Franklin Avenue, in the Crossings Phase II area.  The cleanup will begin on Monday, February 20th and will take approximately 5 to 10 days to complete.  The project will include removing contaminated soils, initiating and completing testing and back-filling the site.  The Village facilitated this cleanup in an overall effort to market the Franklin Avenue commercial corridor for future development.
