The Inspectional Service Department provides assistance to Franklin Park residents and commercial / industrial business’s to construct , remodel and maintain their properties. Inspectional services required permits include , carpentry , concrete , plumbing, fencing , roofing , masonry , signage , electrical , fire safety and HVAC . It provides presale and occupancy inspections for residential and commercial/industrial buildings. Multi-Dwelling inspections are preformed annually to all dwellings containing three or more units. Health and elevator inspections are performed biannually. Plan reviews for the permit process are also performed.
