 Welcome to the Franklin Park Fire Department’s Web Page. The members of this fire department are dedicated to serving the Village of Franklin Park under the direction of Chief David J. Traiforos. The fire department protects approximately 19,400 -150,000 residents and visitors daily in an area of about 5 square miles from three 24 hour manned fire stations.
 
 The Fire Department continually strives to meet the emergency needs of our residents for life safety. We provide public fire safety in a number of ways. Emergency responses include fire suppression, emergency medical services, rescue, hazardous materials response and containment and other emergencies which cause loss of life, property or environmental damage.

These services require a level of expertise, which our fire personnel maintain through their training and continuing education.

The Department operates with 3 engines, 1 ladder, 2 advanced life support ambulances and 1 command vehicle. In reserve, we have one heavy rescue, 1 engine and 1 ambulance. We are committed to personal and professional development. We encourage a commitment to service.
