MISSION STATEMENT
We, the members of the Franklin Park Fire Department, are an organization of dedicated professionals who are committed to serving and protecting the lives and property of our community by providing services directed at the prevention of fires.

Fire Department - Aparatus
Engine Company 1 - E479
Engine1
E1 is a 1999 Pierce enclosed cab with a 1500 GPM 2 stage pump. It is the front line pumper housed at Fire Station 1. In addition to its 500 gallon water tank, carries large diameter hose, a Hurst tool, on board generator, and a pre-piped deluge gun.
Engine Company 3 - E471
Engine 3
E3 is a 1994 Pierce/Telesquirt enclosed cab with a 1500 GPM pump. It is the front line pumper housed at Fire Station #3. In addition to it 500 gallon water tank, E3 has a 50' attached pre-piped ladder and waterway.  Features of this vehicle include an on board generator, portable deluge gun and large diameter hose.
Engine Company 2 - E474

E2 is a 1989 E One enclosed cab with a 1500 GPM pump.  It is the front line pumper housed at Fire Station 2 (Headquarters).  In addition to its 500 gallon water tank, some features found on E2 include its mid-ship mounted drivers side pump panel, pre-piped deluge gun and large diameter hose.
Engine Company 4 - E477
Engine 4
E4 is a 1984 Emergency One Partially enclosed cab with a 1500 GPM pump.  E4 serves as the reserve engine for the department.  It is housed at Fire Station #1.  It has a 500 gallon water tank.
Ladder Company 2 - L475
Truck 2

L2. The 2005 Seagrave 100' rear mount aerial ladder truck is now the front line ladder housed at Station #2.  It has a heavy duty steel ladder, full compliment of ground ladders, Amkus tool, slice pak, air bags, on board cascade for SCBA's, on board generator, ventilation fans, power tools, salvage equipment and some technical rescue equipment. L2 was placed into service in May of 2005.

A1 is a 1995 International Type1 ambulance.  A1 is a front line medic unit housed at Fire Station #1.  It is an advanced life support unit.

Rescue One - R1 476

Acquired from River Grove , R1 is a 1992 Ford/Sauber Rescue vechile.  It is currently carrying all of our hazardous materials for first responder operation. It is a vechile that serves the Division 20 as a part of the technical rescue team.  It's equipped with tools that can be used at technical rescue incidents such as trench collapse, confined space, high angle rescues and building collapse. Vehicle used by off duty personnel for fires in town.

A2 is a 1999 International Type 1 ambulance.  A2 is a front line medic unit housed at Fire Station 2.  It's an advanced life support unit.

1995 Chevy Caprice.  Used daily as the Chief's vehicle.

1994 Ford Explorer.  Used in the fire Prevention Bureau.

2001 Chevrolet Tahoe.   This is the department's command vehicle used daily by the shift commanders.
