10:00 AM - 02:00 PM

Too often, unused prescription drugs find their way into the wrong hands. That's dangerous and often tragic. In fact, a majority of abused prescription drugs were obtained from family and friends, often from the home medicine cabinet.

National Take Back Day is an opportunity for everyone to safely dispose of drugs to help prevent addiction and overdose deaths. Clean out your medicine cabinets and turn in your prescription drugs - safely and anonymously - to the Franklin Park Police Station. Simply drop-off any unwanted drugs between the hours of 10 AM to 2 PM on Saturday, October 27. Accepted items include, all prescription medications, over-the counter medications, medicated ointments, medicated shampoos, liquids containing medications, prescription and over-the-counter inhalers and needles.

Please do not flush drugs down the toilet because these substances are bad for our environment. If you have questions, please call 847-678-2444.
