The American Legion of Franklin Park, Post 974, will hold a ceremony on September 11, at 9:30am, at the Franklin Park Veterans Memorial, which will include a ceremonial lowering of the American flag to half-staff, a 21 gun salute, the playing of Taps and then raising the flag back to the top.  The public is encouraged to attend.
