A FREE Foreclosure Prevention Workshop will be held Saturday, November 17th from 9:00am to 1:00pm in the Atrium at Wright College, located at 4300 N. Narragansett in Chicago.

 

This workshop is an initiative of The Mortgage Relief Project (MRP), part of the Illinois Foreclosure Prevention Network and is dedicated to providing information and resources that can help homeowners take advantage of programs to lower their mortgages, avoid foreclosure and keep their homes.  MRP also provides information on legal rights, credit counseling and information on avoiding scam artists. Homeowners can also take advantage of private, one-on-one housing counseling with HUD-certified counselors during the workshop.

 

Please bring the following documentation with you to the event in order for MRP to best serve you:

• Budget of household expenses
• Documentation of other income
• 2 months of recent bank statements
• Recent Utility Bill
• Profit/Loss, if self-employed (last 6 months)
• Mortgage Statement
• 2010 & 2011 W-2 & tax return with all schedules
• Copy of rental agreement, if necessary
• 2 months of recent paystubs
